Forgiveness means releasing oneself from the emotional grip of resentment, anger, and the desire for retribution towards someone who has wronged you. It's a conscious choice to let go of negative feelings and move towards understanding, compassion, or even peace. Forgiveness doesn't necessarily involve forgetting the offense or excusing the behavior, but rather, it's about shifting your perspective and allowing yourself to heal. 



Psychologists generally define forgiveness as a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you, regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness.

While there's no universally accepted colour that symbolizes forgiveness, the peaceful and calming nature of blue makes it a strong contender. In the realm of healing and emotional balance, blue is often used to facilitate forgiveness and understanding.

The Bible says Christians must forgive one another (Eph 4:32, Col 3:13). Forgiveness is obedience and a refusal to forgive another person is sin. God will bless you when you forgive those who have sinned against you. This underscores a very important biblical truth

In order to forgive, we must first heal the hurt that caused the anger. To heal anger – to heal our wounded hearts so that we can let go of anger – we must first give ourselves permission to feel the anger.

It's impossible to have unconditional love without forgiveness, and it's impossible to have forgiveness without unconditional love. Our Higher Power loves and forgives all of us always, so we must practice using our will in the same way.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing though – the additional germs can help improve your immunity to colds and other mild illnesses. In fact, previous studies have shown that babies who live with a dog tend to experience fewer infections and are generally healthier than those who don’t.

While it’s no guarantee that owning a pet will stop your children from developing certain allergies, the evidence suggests the dander in their fur may help. However, it’s worth noting that you should never own a cat or dog if you are allergic to them – you won’t suddenly become immune!
